Fun teenagers horse. 15.2 skewbald gelding, 13 years old. This is a sad sale of a much loved horse by all. Maverick is a fun all rounder that enjoys everything you throw at him. He loves cross country and nothing fazes him, loves the water. Ridden in the pictures by a 13 yr old girl and had also Hunted with the previous owner a 15 yr old girl. He just loves his job. Maverick isn't a novice ride as he is a forward going ride and can get quite joggy out hacking, never bolts bucks or rears. He is a keen showjumping horse too he rides very much like a pony, not spooky at the fillers etc. He has three very good paces and would make a lovely dressage horse. My daughter has had a lot of fun and lessons with Maverick but as she is only 14 and still on 148's he just isn't the horse that we need right now, and he loves his job so needs to be out doing more. Chaps Registered Skewbald Gelding 15hh 13 years old by Wiscombe Challenger. Whisper is a real one in a million ultimate 100% genuine allrounder. He would suit any member of the family as he is completely safe and sensible in all ways. He happily hacks alone / company, in front or behind, you can lead another horse / pony off him, or he can be lead from another horse. He doesn`t mind being left behind, he does not rush to catch up, he is not at all competitive when ridden in company. He has competed successfully in all disciplines, showing, cross country, dressage, show jumping etc. He is an absolute delight to take to a show, i can take him on his own or with company, he will happily stand all day tied up to the trailer or lorry, he can be left on his own, happily stands at ringside with your reins dropped. He has been hunted and behaves impeccably. He is excellent in traffic, box, catch shoe, bath, clip etc. He happily lives in or out, with mares or geldings, can be left on his own. Whisper is the easiest horse, he is not the sort that needs riding every day, due to circumstances we have sometimes not been able to ride him for several weeks and he is still no different. We originally owned Whisper when he was only 18 months old for 1 1/2 years. We then sold him to a lovely family who then owned him for several years, to whom we stayed in contact with. This is a truly heart breaking sale therefore time wasters, joy riders and novices are best not contacting me!! Looking for a new home preferably with a competent elder teen or young adult wanting to compete or do PC, fun rides, etc. is Red, she is a 15.1hh, rising 8 YO, Thoroughbred mare. Red is the kindest most sweet, natured horse you will ever meet, she loves kids and will stand all day for cuddles and pampering. She is 100% to load, bath, shoe, with all animals, young kids, good in the stable, to tie up and in the field, in open spaces etc etc. I cant find anything she has an issue with! She is great to hack, is 110% with all traffic even in the busiest of places with inconsiderate drivers! Will hack alone or in company and has been on hacks and round Somerford in large groups. She is great in the school, has 3 lovely established paces and has done some lateral work such as leg yielding, turn on the forehand and quarters, flying changes and had started working on lengthening and shortening her stride during summer. She is a very keen jumper with a lot of potential, working over a wide variety of fences, combinations and courses with me at home and has been round Somerford farm ride over many of the XC jumps multiple times last year. She has attended a few local shows also and has always been an absolute gem when out! Now for her few flaws, as a chestnut Thoroughbred mare she can occasionally be a little hot mainly when jumping therefore is not for novices, its nothing malice or worrying but I'm looking for a long term home who know what they are doing! She can also suffer from mud rash on one leg if left in extremely muddy conditions for long periods of time. She can be viewed and ridden but has only been in very light work over the past 3/4 months due to work. I have owned red for over 4 years and she has been an amazing best friend and partner to me, due to personal circumstances I have had to make the very tough decision to sell one of my babies and I feel Red would excel and make the right young lady/man very happy! year old skewbald warmblood cross Hackney mare. She is a true allrounder and has done a bit of everything including, showjumping, cross-country, dressage, hunting, hacking. She has competed at showjumping, and county level showing. She's done in hand showing and has also done some side saddle. She loves to get out and about has been on hound exercise last week a few times proving very sane and sensible and hunted for a season with previous owner snd she has continued to be an easy horse to hunt never strong and quiet to stand. She really loves to jump either xc or showjumping she is keen and straight forward to a fence has done up to 1m easily. She will stand quietly on the lorry and loads and travels perfectly.
