Megan is a lovely 7 yr old (technically 8 this year but was foaled in September) 15.1hh TB X COB. I bought her as a ridden companion for my baby whilst she was away on holiday but she is about to come back in to work, she's a lovely horse she is always perfect to handle on the ground babies can go and cuddle her in the field and she loves it, she is good to ride but i would say she would suit a lad or a girl/adult who is strong minded and experienced as she will occasionally throw in a buck (being honest) and if she is allowed to get away with it she will try. She has never done this with my partner though. She jumps 3ft with ease. She will make a cracking little show jumper!! She will school on the flat but it does need some work, she's good to hack nothing fazes her she will happily stand by the train track waiting for the train no problem. Up to date with her jabs. She is not a novice ride not at all! And will not be sold to anyone who is going to pass her around or I feel are novices. Sad sale of very pretty gelding 16h ID x TB For Sale in

I am selling my horse due to having an operation on my hand and not being able to ride him anymore. He evented over the last two years with a very good, experienced rider at 90 and 100. He was placed on several occasions. He loves being in work and is missing being ridden. Sadly due to my hand he is turned away in a field as I have no-one to ride him now as my friend moved back to Finland. Once in work he is worth much more but I am seeing if there is interest before I send him away to be worked and then sold for more. Troy (Lucky Zulu) is a 16.1 TB x Cob Bay gelding. He has hunted with the Southern Shires Bloodhounds, where he looked after me on my first hunt. I believe he has also hunted on the new forest with a previous owner. Troy loves cross country and is very honest with a big, bold jump. He is also great through water. He has taken part in hunter trials with a previous owner. Troy has also taken part in lots of different riding club activities including adult/pony club camp, sponsored rides, fancy dress rides, showjumping competitions, ODE and pub rides. He is great to hack in company, which he prefers, but will hack alone with a competent rider. I would say that he is not a novice ride,however,as can have the odd spook. Wonderful TB X Connemara mare for sale!

Wonderful 15 year old mare for sale, would consider LWVTB but only local. This beautiful mare is looking for a her forever home, she is such a genuine mare and wouldn't hurt a fly. I have had her for a year now but my circumstances have changed and can no longer afford to own my own horse anymore. She is an ex show jumper and has been there and done it all. And is now wanting a happier quieter life. Not ready for retirement at all. Is as good as gold to turn out and bring in, (a dope on a rope). She can be a little spooky when hacking but won't ever be nasty. She can go into the school and work beautifully but defiantly loves a good run in the field and hacking. This is not a simple straightforward mare, I am looking for a the next honest home for her, She has had a rectum scan recently and has a hole in her rectum, this does not cause any problems for her at all. She is able to be ridden and worked perfectly. However This mare can not be used as a broodmare as this will complicate matters. I have been advised by the vet to keep her either on grass 24/7, and or on sugar beet alongside with Epsom salts. This is to help keep her droppings soft so that the hole in her rectum does not cause colic. Since I have tried this out I have had no problems at all.:) She does have a old wire injry on her left hind and a splint on her right hind. Again never ever caused any problems for me ever. She is perfect with her shoes and has very good solid feet. The farrier comes every 6 weeks for her. She is due her nextast vaccination (as had to start them again) on the 26th October.
