A Gorgeous 15.2hh Bright Bay Gelding, 18 years old, Thorough Bred X. Perfect gentleman, very loving nature. Owned him for 10 years so this a very sad sale due to no fault of his own, I am currently having some health problems and also have a young toddler so I just haven't got the quality of time to spend with him which is very upsetting, because he just loves to be brushed and made attention of, He isn't a novice ride but that's not due to him having any faults he is just forward going which will unsettle a nervous rider so only confident/ experienced riders please. He is very good in traffic will hack alone or in company, due to my lack of time he hasn't been being ridden by me I have had a girl on the yard ride him every now and again when she's got time, so he will need bringing back into work properly so he is fully fit. once he is back to fitness I don't think there will be any problem with him doing fun rides, low level dressage, or some local shows because he loves being out and doing things even if its just hacking. He has competed locally in unaffiliated show jumping, jumping up to cm but with scope to go higher (qualifying for the second round of Trailblazers), dressage, usually scoring 65% and being placed. He has also done hunter trials and one day events. He has regular lessons and is part of a local riding club. Indie is a gorgeous year old true gentleman. He is very easy to handle. Hacks out alone and in company. Has done some jumping however I am not a big jumper so I haven’t done anything with him recently. Although he is an ex race horse he is not your typical thoroughbred, he is very laid back. I brought indie as a happy hack as I already have a youngster that I will be backing and training up for shoes etc, however I like to ride out with my friend who has a very fast paced horse and indie is very laid back when hackkng in company, when hacking alone he is very forward and if he rode like this all the time I would not be selling him. This 16.2 bay gelding really is the ideal gentleman to take you out and look after you. Only owned him 5 months and unfortunately he's not getting the work he needs from us. My daughters pony is taking attention away from him feel he deserves more one to one. Good with all traffic preferes a friend to hack out with but will go alone. Not fazed by any vehicles he's pretty much seen it all. Has done some schooling and can work in a correct outline. He has lovely ground and stable manners not a grumpy boy. Very sweet natured easy to catch fine with farrier and travel. In a routine back check they noticed a chip on the side of one of his hips, they said it looked like he has probably knocked it on post or fence or something, we reckon this is why he sometimes goes a bit unsound when in heavier work such as over jumping and lots of cantering, this is why he would suit a quieter hacking home.
