Dudley is currently ridden and enjoyed by a slightly nervous but competent teenager but would also suit a confident rider looking for a fun pony to jump as that really is his forte. Previously competed lots with old owner and was a mother daughter share but due to lack of time he hasn't competed with us but has had lots of outings. Easy to clip, barefoot and lives in or out. Easy to catch, groom, bath, feet, teeth and loves attention, he is a real sweet little character, he has been used as a field companion all his life for his previous owner that doesn't ride and had no intension of riding but then she needed to cut down on numbers, I bought him in the summer as a project to bring on he was a little sweetie to handle and break he has been lunged, long lined, loose jumped, sat on and led around the village by riding another horse and has met traffic and tractors with no problems, he really wouldn't take much finishing off but I have had a change in circumstances after having a bad riding accident, (not on him!!) and he has just been left all winter to get hairy and fat!!! year old. This lovely boy is being sold from the field due to my teenage daughter losing complete interest. He is a trotter x cob and does pace. Ride and drive although I have never driven him, he was driven in his previous home. He has been ridden in open spaces and main roads and has never put a foot wrong and always kept my novice daughter safe. Up to date with vaccinations (booster due in may), worming and regularly trimmed (barefoot as stood in a field).
