Advanced Elements AdvancedFrame2 convertible DS Series inflatable kayak This high-end Inflatable kayak is in as-new condition, having only been used a few times. Even the bow and stern are virtually unmarked (see photo). This is a fifteen-foot kayak that can be paddled solo or tandem. It’s easy to create a closed-in configuration by zipping-in either an optional single or double-aperture ‘deck’*. The deck allows optional spray-skirts to be zipped on*. Unlike most other inflatables, it rides in rather than on the water. Its advanced design means it can rival the speed and trackability of day-touring hard-shell kayaks – and can handle Class 1 and 2 rapids. Yet it can be folded up to form a compact, light-weight pack that is easily transported without the need for a roof-rack. Its compactness is great for those who have limited space at home or have a small vehicle. Central to the advanced design is the use of aluminium-framed rigid-formed bow and stern. The kayak can be fitted with a high-pressure rigid floor* and a stern tracking fin / skeg. The sale includes extras to the basic spec: adjustable ‘peg’ footrests (cost new £59) and inflatable, high-back lumbar seats (which cost new £59 each). There is plenty of on-board storage space without cramping leg-room, making extended trips much more enjoyable. The kayak is manufactured from extremely durable materials and high-end components. The kayak's durable double-coated fabric, heavy-duty PVC and electronically welded seams can take bumps, scrapes and rough water. The fabric is un-marked (see photo).
