beautiful 7 year old Tb gelding. I brought Darcy to bring on and potentially show, however I don’t feel as though I’m experienced enough to do so. Darcy has been out of work for a couple of months, and has been left to be horse. He loves fuss and a cuddle. He has pulled snowboarders around in the snow at the beginning of the year with his previous owner. He’s good to catch, load, farrier, up to date with vaccinations, teeth. His only vice is that he can be a bit bolshy on the ground, however with some treats he’s easily won over. He has an old injury which he got from when his was in the stools, it’s just a lump of scar tissue on his hind leg, this is purely superficial it causes him no pain or problems. Large 16.2hh Tb, 14yrs, Light Bay, Ex-racehorse Bear would make a fantastic all rounder, hunter or RoR competition horse for a confident rider. He hacks beautifully alone and in company. He would suit both female and male riders of most ages. Great with traffic, farrier, loading, etc. Since retiring from racing he has hunted, had some cross-country schooling and been to a couple of show jumping lessons and competitions. 15.2hh Irish x 8yr old. Project for the summer. Major is a very sweet affectionate horse in and around the stable. He's very sensitive around his shoulders. When you 1st walk him on when ridden he acts as if he is cold backed. After 10 minutes he is fine, I feel this is to do with how sensitive he is as he doesn't like if your foot touches his shoulder. When ridden daily this time becomes shorter every time. As I work full time I seem to be getting nowhere as it can be a few days to a week he's not ridden for, so not having the time, consistency and enthusiasm I'm not getting anywhere. I have had him ridding very sweetly with consistency and he has an amazing jump on him and fantastic movement. He is being sold as a project hopefully to a knowledgeable home that can put in the time he needs and reach his full potential. He is very short backed and would benefit from a lightweight shorter rider than me. I feel with the right person he will make a great event horse.
