14hh Bay Gelding 18 Year Old Pony For Sale in Colchester

Our adorable pony is well schooled, has great paces is easy to ride and is for sale due to being outgrown by my daughter. He has many years left in him and looks amazing. He really is up for anything, he is excellent in the heaviest of traffic including lorries, double deckers, combine harvesters, skip lorries etc. He hacks alone perfectly either by himself or with company, he competes regularly and does well in Working Hunter Classes, Showing, Xcountry, Showjumping, Dressage, Hunter trials, Long Distant rides, ODE and has been attending PC for the last three years including rallies and 4 day camp and area dressage. Currently jumping any height up to 2'6" maximum. Happy to go through water. Happy to be first or last. He will stand tied up to a trailor all day or can be happily left inside a trailor at shows. He always does well at shows and in the ribbons. Happy to be ridden bareback. He is excellent to catch, trim, pulling mane, bath, lunge, load, clip, worm, farrier and is up to date with worming, teeth, vaccinations and back. He does not barge and is happy to be sprayed with flyspray etc. Lives in or out alone or in company with mares or geldings. Happy to be in a stable on straw or shavings. Happy to have dry or wet hay. He has front shoes on every 5-6 weeks to keep his toes short. Has not lost a shoe since we have owned him. Excellent with electric fencing. He does not particularly like his girth being done up but if you speak to him before you do it he is usually fine. He is very happy to adapt to the level of any rider. He has been part of our life for 3 years and the previous owner for 10years (we still keep in contact with them). Have loads of photos and videos. I am genuinely an honest person and keep in contact with our last pony that we sold three years ago and would like to do the same with whoever buys our lovely Brambles. He comes with a very good quality snaffle bridle, saddle, rugs etc. He has slight arthritis in his near fore foot but does not normally need any treatment and this does not affect him. **Yogi** for sale h 4 yo Connemara x Yogi has just returned from a 4 month winter break and from having his wolf teeth out. He was broken in the summer last year. He is a lovely forward going active pony. He walk trots and canters nicely in the school and has a lovely jump. He comfortably jumps courses at home although has plenty of scope and has loose schooled 3'0. He has seen fillers and jumped a course of 2'0 at a clear round schooling evening. He hacks alone or in company, first or last and is good in open spaces. He hasn't been out and about much to events due to lack of a small rider and due to age. He is still quite green but very willing to learn and needs someone confident to help him reach his full potential. He would suit a pony club/hunting family that is willing to teach him the ropes and could suitable for all members of the family to ride from a confident young boy/girl to mum wanting to have fun or go for a hack. This is not a first pony due to age and he is forward going This pony came to me a very scared Unhandled pony. He can still be a little nervous on the floor but once he gets to know and trust you he is a gem and has never been a problem to ride. He wears a headcollar in the field and if he's feeling difficult is easily caught with food. I have given him a chance and has turned into a very special lovely pony!
