Meet Paddy - very sweet natured, lovable 14hh cob cross gelding. He will be 6 this year and is broken to ride, although still green in school esp with canter transitions. Hacks out alone or in company, needs confidence to push forwards sometimes as still young. Absolute dream to bath, groom and for farrier, vet, dentist, all have commented on what a fantastic pony he is. Very genuine, honest type who will give you his all and his very best to please. Up to date with worming, farrier, dentist, just starting him off on vaccinations. Heartbreaking sale of the most genuine little cob you will ever meet. Pippa is a 3 year old 14hh cob who was backed this summer and has proved what a wonderful pony she is. Hacked out regularly in all traffic and never put a foot wrong. Attended local shows regularly over the past two summers in hand and a couple of ridden classes this year and has always behaved perfectly and she completed her first UA intro test at the end of the summer, scoring 68%. The friendliest 14hh gelding cob

This is the hardest decision I have ever had to make but I am having to sell my best friend Oscar. He is the friendliest, sweetest horse I have ever met. He loves people! I ride him out on hacks mostly so he is still a bit green in the school. He has a lovely walk and trot and he does love a canter out on hacks but we are working on it in the school! He is 5 years old. Has one stunning blue eye and one brown. Has 2 front shoes but no back although the farrier says his feet are good enough to not need shoes. Picks his feet up lovely. Since I've had him I have only had the vet out once for his back leg that was clonking. When I bought him he was just stood in a muddy field doing nothing and only eating hay. Then when I had him he was being worked and fed, because of this he was growing and getting more muscle tone. The vet advised he was just having a sudden growth spurt and as I have worked him more and more to build muscle tone it has vanished and he has been fine since. Never been lame. Great with dogs and kids. Can muck out around him. Lives out or in. Would come with rugs and I also have extra horsey things I would no longer be needing. He can come with his bridle but I have no saddle as the one I currently use is not mine. Bertie is our gorgeous mother daughter share cob gelding who we have owned for 2 years. He is currently in work 4-5 days per week schooling, hacking and natural horsemanship games/sessions however my daughter is not doing as much as hoped and I'm finding it difficult to keep up the work I think Bertie needs to bring him on. Bertie is kept at Southview yard just outside Wellingborough. It has miles of off road hacking including a nice long strip to gallop up, and a flood lit ménage. There are lots of people to hack with and the potential to join the yard parelli group. I am looking for someone who wants to work with Bertie at least 2 days per week, who is no more than 11.5 stone in weight, and who is happy to ride in a treeless saddle. You will also need rider insurance please, which I will check. Payment to made monthly in advance. We can agree set days or I can be totally flexible depending on what you want to do. Bertie can occasionally spook when out hacking, particularly if alone, although he tends to jump to the side or forward and comes back to listen pretty quickly. However, he can nap if you try a route he's not so familiar with and therefore needs firm direction from his rider. When schooling he will try to get away with minimum effort as he's pretty laid back and chilled out. However, he can move beautifully and be relaxed and forward if you are firm but sensitive with him. I wouldn't say he's a born jumper so if jumping is your thing you will need to work at it to develop him with this. He's had both my kids and my kids' novice friends on him and I am happy to have my 11 year old daughter hack him out around the open fields with me walking/running beside. Bobby is easy to load, quiet and calm on busy main roads, open fields and hacks alone or in company. He has been on many outings and fun rides to which he has been very settled and calm throughout. Would make an ideal mum and daughter share and perfect for a child who has just come off lead rein or perhaps lacks in confidence. Bobby jumps small fences and has also shown interest in gymkhana games. He never seems phased by anything, just a genuine pony who loves to please. Bobby was bought as a companion and the plan was to train him for mounted games however he is far too calm and it would be a shame to spoil that.
