He comfortably jumps courses at home although has plenty of scope and has loose schooled 3'0. He has seen fillers and jumped a course of 2'0 at a clear round schooling evening. He hacks alone or in company, first or last and is good in open spaces. He hasn't been out and about much to events due to lack of a small rider and due to age. I have owned my lovely highland pony for almost 8 years, he was a three year old when I got him. We have competed successfully at dressage and have done a few novice tests. I work full time and have another pony and sadly just don't have the time to do them both justice. I have therefore come to the very sad decision to try and find someone who wants a new bestfriend. He is easy to look after, barefoot and could live off air! He does sadly suffer sweetitich and does need to be kept rugged in summer. He has lost some forelock this summer but still has full mane and tail. He does like to spend some time inside in summer but probably would live out if the flies allow. He is easy to clip, load and generally a very friendly pony. He is not spooky and hacks alone and in company. I will not be allowing novices to rattle around on his back! He is in NO way a difficult ride but he is a sensitive pony and wouldn't appreciate an inconsiderate or novice rider on him. Brookvale Golden Sundae (Goldie) is a very pretty palomino pony, 10 yr old mare, hh, who is a Welsh x Arab, however her breeding is mainly dominated by the British Riding Pony. Goldie's main discipline is dressage and has recently qualifying for the BYRDS Inter-Regionals this year; she consistently scores between 60% and 68%.
