She has got a few down points, one being she doesn't like her feet being picked up, no she has never kicked me but she is just a typical stroppy mare! Poppy is a lovely, sweet-natured approx. 14hh 6yr old coloured cob mare. She is a responsive, forward-going ride (with good brakes!) and has been schooling nicely through the summer in our field. She has in the past been out jumping and has done cross country too, although has very much gone back to basics with myself. Poppy is a sensitive soul who needs a patient and caring new owner to get the very best from her - she is a genuine, honest pony who constantly strives to please and loves her work, but occasionally does need reassurance. She will live in or out with both mares and geldings, and is great to handle, bath, catch, box and fab with the farrier - she stands at the side of a busy road to have her feet trimmed with no problems at all. She is also up to date with her vaccs.
