Meet Scooby a 14.2hh Cob 13years old, although a cob he does not act like it,, he is forward going and loves to jump! iv done pony club, local shows and a few hunts through the years as i have owed him for 9 years! the only reason for sale is change in my circumstances and can no longer afford him and he is also being wasted with me. He could do with a young adult/teenager to bring the best out of him as he really is great fun when he is fit, I will be total honest if you would like to know anything as i want the best home for him! he has a few sarcoids but haven't grown or done anything for the last 4/5 years and he has been on the same yard and none of the other horses have ever got them,,, they are not in any places that would disturb ridding either so i don't think they are an issue, he can be a pain to clip but if you have patents like me then it is possible! if not sedative also works! he is good to load and okay with he farrier,,(can be a bit nervous but once re-assured he is okay) on the floor on day to day he is a dream the perfect pony (i don't even use a head collar to lead him he just follows me!) he is absolutely brilliant with kids! all the kids go to him for cuddles as he puts his head down to them its really cute to watch, also he is good on lead rein for kids as my nieces comes to ride him and he never put a foot wrong. Bonza is a fabulous horse to ride, he is forward going and brilliant fun, Bonza NEVER says no, he is a full of character safe ride who loves his work so much. He is a lovely boy to catch load handle groom etc, he has no vices and is clean limbed and sound. He is not a novice ride as he is a responsive forward going horse, but very easy to ride for a seme competent jockey. 16.2 bay TB mare, good doer lives happily out all year. She is off the field as was turned away for the winter. She is a nice chunky eye catching mare with no lumps bumps or scars. She is older at 19 but still has many years left in her as she has been looked after all her life. She raced for about five years and was placed and has been a broodmare. Unlike some ex racers she works well under saddle understands leg yeilding and hacks alone or in company gets a little excited in the open but has brakes. I think she will make a nice show prospect or dressage. There is however a down side, Magic is not for a novice, she is a project and can be dominant and has a nice line in face pulling. She is unshod at the moment and unfit. She is bombproof with dogs traffic etc but will need you to give her confidence with the dreaded plastic bags etc. She is not great to shoe but loads well and really prefers to be out all year. This mare has a lot of potential as a project or ridded companion and deserves more than me. In all honesty we are not a great match hence why she is for sale and priced as she is. I need something more family friendly and Magic deserves a lot more attention and work than she is getting. She turns out well with others but can be bossy when food is around.
