14.2 to 15 hh Connemara on Irish Passport, Rising 6

Sad sale due to health and family commitments. Very friendly and inquisitive character with fabulous paces, shape and willing to learn to jump (I have not jumped for 30 years so only tried small so far in pictures but have seen him jump higher with other riders). Quick learner. I find he enjoys riding out hacking around countryside combined with riding in a menage. Great to look after in the stable. I think he would best suit a pony club / riding club home or hunter or regular hack but not a novice ride as 5 rising 6 so still has a lot to learn and has done little groundwork. I currently estimate him to be about 148cm /14.2hh, I am told he will make about 15hh so could suit a keen teenager or adult / teen share. I hack him out mainly on his own and sometimes in company. He does still look at things he has not experienced before, but so far I can always ride him by them. Hacked out across country on farm tracks so used to open spaces, and field tracks. Good with other horses. Good to shoe. Loves being brushed. Excellent stable manners. Always comes up to you when its time to come in from his field. Luna is very laid back and calm and loves people. She is willing to please and will give anything a go, she has a great attitude to work. She is very safe and easy to handle, has very good stable manners and loves attention. Very patient so will stand for hours to be fussed and groomed. Excellent to bath, clip, load, farrier, and has no vices. She can be more on the lazy side when being ridden so is more suited to the rider that prefers a ride that needs firm encouragement rather than something that needs holding back. She is set to make a fabulous all-rounder although she is still learning with aspects of jumping but has shown great scope and willingness to try. She is great to hack due to being so calm traffic and ‘scary’ things don’t bother her. She is currently on working livery at Northop College equine centre, where she is used by students of ranging abilities and she has become a firm favourite due to her lovely personality and sweet, honest nature. She was also used for the recent riding and road safety British horse society exam at the college because she can be relied upon to behave in traffic. He's good on the flat and improves every time, just lacking top line which is also improving week by week. He's not sharp or spooky but is forward going, he would be ideal for someone looking for a winter project who has the time. I don't really want to sell but doing what I feel is best for him as I only have a grass paddock to work him in and when it's wet I can't ride or lunge on it as it's also winter grazing so don't want to churn it up, also no lights so after work it's a race against the light:(so I don't want to see him get wasted over winter!
