Registered Connemara 'Shas Prince' Gelding

Prince is a full up 14.2hh 8yr old Registered Connemara. Lovely proper stamp of the breed with strong shoulders and big chest! He is a darling to handle in the stable, can be walked around by kids with no problem. Will stand to washed down, groomed and messed with. Doesn't nip or spook. No vices and in great health. Flat work is good. When he came to us he was out of practice and rushed but we have ironed out all his quirks and he's going beautifully. Walk, Trot, canter and jump. Jumping is also good, he'll pop a small course of jumps safely and steadily. When he came to us he was a bit nippy running out but he seems eager and willing now. Hacking is wonderful and he will hack alone or in company. I will say what I have noticed is that he really doesn't like the rain and can get giddy when ridden in it. He is great to shoe, load and catch (with a bucket or carrot). He isn't keen on being clipped but I have clipped him so he just needs patience and doing it in small doses. He has been affiliated in the past and you google him you'd be able to see what he has done. Only bad point is when we clipped all his Woolley fur off his back we found to marks on either side of his saddle. I believe that he has had an accident in the past and the saddle made have dug in to him. His back has been checked and is fine. He doesn't have any sensitivity etc he just doesn't like you touching them. I would say Prince would be good for a mother/daughter share or a teenager who wants to maybe do some pony club etc. He'd still be good for a novice but would prefer experienced if possible. ****** FANTASTIC LEAD REIN PONY IN THE MAKING ***** With a very heavy heart price is being offered for sale as I no longer have the time to dedicate to him along with my daughters tho absolute no fault of his own. He is 5 years old, dappe grey with 4 white socks. 11.2hh. Fully registered with the wpcs green papers/passport. He has been mouthed, long reined and backed although still green and has only been used as lead rein due to my daughters only being 5 them selves. He will happily have them on his back in full tack, walk and trot without a problem. He hasn't been ridden by my daughters alot in the passed year due to my self being pregnant but my sister has been on him in the last couple of months just giving him basics to keep him going ! My daughters absolutely adore him and will groom and cuddle him until the cows come home ! He's a perfect gent for them. Not a problem to catch, groom, trim feet, wash, worm,rug, load and up until I was pregnant he has been fully clipped each year since I have owned him and is a dream to do !! Unfortunately I just don't have the time to give him and my daughter the time they deserve together and he's being wasted as a field ornament due to their new sister !. I have had him since he was 3 and honestly don't want to part with him. He currently is currently turned out with mares and a gelding and has no issues at all, he is stabled over night and at the minute un-rugged.
