Wonderful TB X Connemara mare for sale!

Wonderful 15 year old mare for sale, would consider LWVTB but only local. This beautiful mare is looking for a her forever home, she is such a genuine mare and wouldn't hurt a fly. I have had her for a year now but my circumstances have changed and can no longer afford to own my own horse anymore. She is an ex show jumper and has been there and done it all. And is now wanting a happier quieter life. Not ready for retirement at all. Is as good as gold to turn out and bring in, (a dope on a rope). She can be a little spooky when hacking but won't ever be nasty. She can go into the school and work beautifully but defiantly loves a good run in the field and hacking. This is not a simple straightforward mare, I am looking for a the next honest home for her, She has had a rectum scan recently and has a hole in her rectum, this does not cause any problems for her at all. She is able to be ridden and worked perfectly. However This mare can not be used as a broodmare as this will complicate matters. I have been advised by the vet to keep her either on grass 24/7, and or on sugar beet alongside with Epsom salts. This is to help keep her droppings soft so that the hole in her rectum does not cause colic. Since I have tried this out I have had no problems at all.:) She does have a old wire injry on her left hind and a splint on her right hind. Again never ever caused any problems for me ever. She is perfect with her shoes and has very good solid feet. The farrier comes every 6 weeks for her. She is due her nextast vaccination (as had to start them again) on the 26th October. She is perfect for the vet, dentist and farrier. Does not blink an eye. Please this is a very sad sale and don't want any time wasters. Luna is very laid back and calm and loves people. She is willing to please and will give anything a go, she has a great attitude to work. She is very safe and easy to handle, has very good stable manners and loves attention. Very patient so will stand for hours to be fussed and groomed. She can be more on the lazy side when being ridden so is more suited to the rider that prefers a ride that needs firm encouragement rather than something that needs holding back. ?? Rue is a 17hh 6yo ISH mare. By Emperor Augustus out of Kilrush Suzie (King of Diamonds). Was broken professionally then hacked and turned away for a year. Brought back into work April and worked since, but recently had time off over winter due to lack of facilities and wet ground. Not for a novice rider, not dangerous, just young and green. She needs further schooling and fitness. Has bucked on the odd occasion, however I wouldn't even class as a 'buck', back legs barely leave the ground, just argumentative behaviour on stroppy days, although she is a mare and I find this behaviour has occurred when she is in season. Slightly behind the leg, needs a push although confident in all 3 paces. Rue has steady transitions, though she needs a quiet calm rider. Recently had back, pelvis and teeth all done. Took her over her first jumps last summer, keen jumper, I would like her to turn a hoof to all disciplines. Good to hack with others, needs a firm hand out alone, not keen on tractors, but asks rider for reassurance, rather than the flight and flee type, so it is important that rider is confident, quiet and kind! Overall Rue is a very nice little mare with a sweet personality, she is very special to me. A lot of potential to do more with more consistent work, both ridden and on the ground, this is a squeeze with me being at college.
