If you're looking for a loving and gorgeous pony to have fun with, Linnie Lou is your girl! Fit, happy and honest Mare. My little Pocket Rocket. Age is but a number when it comes to Lin. Can live in or out however would need open stable if in with a view of other horses as only been stabled the last year. Recently come back into Pole Work, Hasn't been jumped in a while, but has competed to 3ft 3 in SJ. Jumped recently on Lunge with flying colours. Loves XCountry- I expect would just needs rider to develop her confidence a little as hasn't done in the last 2 yrs. Not a novice ride as can be a little sharp during the spring and can sometimes take 10 minutes to settle before she gets a focus to work. Don't we all eh! Linnie is so eager to work and have fun, she can have a very slight tendency to have 1 or 2 little exciteable buck on the very rare occasion - I can assure you This is only during spring, and are excitement- 100% Not aggression! But this is why I would not advise for a first Pony- with frequent exercise and a field big enough to roam in with friends, this would not occur. Perfect on road, perfect to hack and loves a good gallop! Hooves trimmed every 6 weeks and perfect condition, good to load, dentist, groom, behaviour with all ages. Fearful of clippers, but ok with sedation. She has never had a bad experience, just sensitive to the sound. No health problems but is Allergic to Coconut Oil!! This was used for a week on dry skin after a clip, her skin reacted badly resulting in loss of hair. This has since grown back. Vet advised it is a very rare allergy. Tack and all season rugs included!! I have owned this Mare for 10 years, and is quite simply my best friend. This is a beyond heartbreak sale for me. This decision has taken me 3 years and the only reason for sale is she simply needs more than what I can give as my interests have altered. Since the loss of a friend in a horse accident while competing a few years ago, my confidence decreased which has left a knock on affect on her limiting her potential. 14.1hh 13 year old registered Welsh D gelding Rotherdale Viscount Ollie is a fantastic, stunning little pony, I cannot fault him in any way. He is very laid back & is not fazed by the slightest thing! He is good as gold to handle on the ground, clip, travel, load for the farrier, dentist etc. Stands lovely and quietly for whatever you ask of him. He is literally worth his weight in gold! I have had total novices on him including a 6 year old who was having regular lessons on him. I have showjumped Ollie, and he has shown great scope (as shown in photos) but since he was jumping more regularly he developed a more flatter jump, so does not cat leap anymore, and has a lovely comfy jump. He has done fantastic at dressage and has created some lovely scores! He is a bombproof hack, does not spook at anything unnecessary, canters beautifully in open fields & more than happy to be left behind or held back. Never gets strong or silly. Fantastic in heavy traffic, farm machinery, bikes, lorries, etc. He is a kick along ride unless you get someone on him that's knows how to push his buttons and make him work. He can be ridden in a hanging cheek snaffle or a Dutch gag as he always falls asleep when he is being ridden and can be a bit hard to turn if you have a child who cannot use their legs to back up the hands! But he is mostly ridden in a loose ring snaffle. Laid back at shows with and without company - does not call or get stressed. I genuinely think this pony would be a fantastic pony club pony for a competent child wanting to go out and compete and have good fun & parents not having to worry about their child not being safe! Ollie will not only keep your child safe but he will bring home the red rosettes! He has done various activities from le trec, beach rides, xc, sj, mounted games, horseball etc. This is a completely heartbreaking sale but work commitments & family problems are pushing me to the limit and I can just simply no longer cope. 5* home only & a lifetime home will have priority over anyone else! Sweetie is a 15 yr old 13hh registered Welsh Section C dun mare. Unfortunately my son has outgrown Sweetie and so it is time for her to find another mum or dad to look after. She has been with us for the last 2 1/2 yrs going to pony club, showing, showjumping, hunter trials, tetrathlon and dressage. She is more of a second pony but saying that she is very loving and has taught my son loads, she is up to date with teeth, back, vacs and worming. Sweetie is good to catch (especially for my 11 yr old), clip (apart from her face!) and shoe (barefoot). She is happy jumping up to 75cm nearly always coming home with a rosette, does not bat an eyelid at mounted games equipment, my son can even wave the flag over her face and she just stands there! XC she is happier sticking to cm and below and always gets above 60% on her dressage scores! Unfortunately we had issues loading her recently but with a Monty Roberts headcollar on she is fine. She does have mild sweetitch which is controlled using her rugs which will come with her. Sweetie is brilliant for my 11 yr old son to lead and he tacks her up by himself. hh As genuine as they come, but full of personality. This friendly confident mare just loves human interaction. So easy to do. Everything i've thrown at her she's just taken all in her stride. She was broken in the early spring. She hacks out alone or in company, happily goes first or last or right in the middle. Doesn't get fizzy even in open grounds or whilst others are galloping off ahead. Soft mouthed and responsive to aids. Has nice active paces. Currently walking, trotting and cantering under saddle however green in her schooling, it's mainly just hacking work she's done. Has popped a log out hacking with no hesitation, showing great balance and carefulness, didn't even get silly. Passes heavy traffic out hacking (videos can be seen). Easy to handle, mount, bath, farrier, load/travel, worm etc. Used to other animals, regularly goes hacking with my GSD dog running alongside (even on the beach). Goes into river or sea when asked. Loose jumped 3ft. Has lived out or in. Can be left for weeks and you can just jump back onto her with no difference. Ridden bareback through the fields of other horses. Tacked up loose in field, as will come away from other horses (doesn't stress, not mare ish at all). This mare is so sweet and genuine she really hasn't put a foot out of place. Not suitable for complete novices/nervous riders only because of her age, being so young i would love to see her fulfil her potential and wouldn't like her to pick up bad habits etc. Only for sale as too small for myself. 11hh welsh section A pony club lead rein pony

Our beloved pony Barney is sadly up for sale after 7 great years. All my children have ridden him from being toddlers and he has been their first pony so this is such a sad sale. He enjoys being worked and will whinny when he sees you bringing tack so it's unfair on him to be left without a job. I am advertising him as a lead rein pony as this is what he prefers in a schooling situation as he can be nappy without his leader in the arena and he much prefers having mum or dad to walk beside or even run in front. He will hack out perfectly off the lead and goes off your voice. He has been ridden around hopton x country off the lead and on the farnley ride and Escrick park. He will jump small jumps and has got a good jump but it's not something he enjoys. He is just ridden now and then at the moment but he is exactly the same ride how ever long he is left. Barney has been involved with all pony club activities including mounted games, mini camp, mini cross country, lessons and jumping with my daughter from being age 5. He has competed on the mini mounted games for 2 seasons on the lead and did wetherby weekend this year off the lead in the junior team and did great. Totally unfazed with a busy environment and does not get silly or excitable, he's very happy to stand on the line and just wait his turn and knows the equipment. When at shows he just stands patiently and nods off. He will ride and lead and is responsive to voice commands which is great for teaching little ones to canter on the lead. A shout of whoa quickly brings him back to walk! We've stayed away at shows and he is happy to be corralled in an pen and will not stress if left on his own, he just enjoys being out and having a job to do. He can be a bit grumpy to handle and will pull the odd face. He will live out with a shelter or come in at night and he is happy with both. He is very clean in the stable and will poo in a bucket at the back! He can be left for weeks and then ridden and he is exactly the same, just steady away. I've had her for 18 months and she has been a perfect lead rein for my son- excellent in traffic & in the school. Not done much jumping but can pop a cross pole with ease. Blackwoodland Jive- Registered Irish Grade 1 Connemara gelding by I Love You Melody out of Blackwoodland Joy. No vices. Very typey- judges love him. Jive has striking looks and wonderful movement. He came here from Ireland and lived in his previous home for 5 years. He has proved to be a cracking competition pony with great results and rosettes every time out. He has won and been placed in dressage, ODE, arena eventing, M & M showing and WP, performance pony, SJ, Show x, HT and CT. Jive is particularly good at dressage and working towards medium. He never comes home without a ribbon. Jive hunts beautifully and has hacked out with three generations in his previous family and ours around a busy village and fields both alone and in company. Snaffle mouth in all disciplines though goes up a gear XC. Jive is a real people pony. Friendly, inquisitive and intelligent. Loves a fuss but doesn't like being sprayed with fly spray! Excellent to clip and catch, dentist, shoe and box with no vices, health issues, melanomas etc. Jive would suit a competition/pony/riding club home with a confident child or small adult. Excellent mother/daughter share. He is forgiving and obedient and tries hard to please. He is going to waste with me. I broke my back and am an older rider and he needs more than a two mile hack twice a week. He should be doing what he does best and that's going out and winning! He's been to the beach this summer and went clear round Rise XC with a young rider who had only sat on him once before. He is simply superb. A sort extremely hard to find.
