year old, 5 in may We bought Beau 8 months ago as a lightly broken pony, in the time we have had him he has come on a lot and is very loving. We sent him off for 4 weeks to be professionally schooled and he came back doing walk trot and canter. In the time we have had him he has come on a lot, in the school he is still green but will work in a outline and likes to be kept busy as due to his age does get bored, He does trot poles but have not jumped him, has had a horse bronk around the arena and he never flinched.out hacking he is bombproof and has took nervous ponies out, has seen bikes,trucks,motorbikes and tractors and does not flinch, will go out alone or in company and is fine.he is perfect to catch and turnout and with the farrier(barefoot),dentist(no sedation), getting clipped and bathed and to brush and tack up(snaffle mouthed). He can be turned out with mares and gelding and respects electric fencing. No novices due to his age. He will happily suit someone who wants a happy hacker as he really enjoys it. Only selling due my school commitments. I want the new owners to stay in touch and send pictures, i do not want him to go to someone who will just sell him on as he is a very loving boy who has a lot of character once he gets to know you. He is passported and microchipped, will live in or out, he is rugged as he was fully clipped but would be ok unrugged, I will include the current rug he is wearing, bridle and headcollar. Murphy (Murphys Half Pint) is a 13hh piebald cob gelding. Hes 4 years old however don’t be put off by his age! He has been ridden by experienced riders to being on and off the leadrein for children who have never even sat on a horse. This pony gives you so much confidence when you’re on board, never reared or bucked. Good to hack alone or in company, when in company he will go in front or behind never nappy. Ive hacked Murphy along main roads, in open fields and around the local forests. Hes got 3 nice paces, he is more forward when out however not silly or strong. Hes got a nice little jump and Ive competed him cross country and showjumping.- I’ve never had a refusal from this pony. Murphy will turn his hoof to anything! Fully up to date with everything. Good for farrier (barefoot) and lives in or out. Hes currently turned out 24/7 with my ponies. Murphy will come with tack. He is currently rode in a snaffle bridle and I have also rode him in a dr cook bitless bridle.He is the perfect all-rounder for a child or small adult. 5* homes only for this very special pony.
