Ray is fully vaccinated passport.recently had back checked and had teeth done in November. Iv had ray since August . I brought him to go out and compete but his only fault is loading iv spent hours practicing to the point he goes on on his own.i took him over cannock chase and he was a star i came to put him on a week later back to square one he is not intrested he travels great it just getting on. I have been told he loads better on a trailer but I'm not in a position to just buy a trailer or a towing vehicle.If I didn't have the other 2 I would keep him and get another one to compete. He hacks alone or in company I do find him better on his own or with a sensible horse or horses. As a girls pony bolted home and he just jogged.he's Great in open fields. It is with a heavy heart that I am deciding to sell my boy Finn. I have owned Finn for 7 years and he has taught me everything that I have learnt. We've had trips to the beach, attended local shows, gone out on fun rides and he's always loved every second. Don't let his age put you off! He has plenty of life left in him, still able to very happily jump 3ft with me bareback on him! He has always been there for me, happily letting me groom him for hours and plait his mane and tail and generally make a fuss of him. He has such a quirky character, he never fails to make me laugh. He is a gorgeous looking boy with a very cute face that it is hard to say no to when he knows you have treats! He is quite head-shy therefore must have someone patient and kind who isn't going to raise a hand to him. He is forward going, he can be strong when he's excited therefore must have an experienced, confident rider to be fully appreciated and enjoyed. He loves to go out hacking, around fields and going for gallops- will still beat a friend's 10yo 16.2hh ID up a hill! His flatwork is limited due to lack of interest on my behalf, yet he is very willing to learn and loves being in work. He is 100% bombproof, used to tractors, quads, trailers, motorbikes etc, however the odd drain cover or plastic bag can sometimes catch him by surprise! He is a saint to load, shoe, clip etc. Up to date with teeth, health, vaccinations. Serious enquires ONLY. 5* home required as he has been my first horse. Scooter 8 year old 14.2 bay gelding Scooter was purchased in the summer for the riding school and has sadly proven that he is not totally suited as a riding school pony. He is great in traffic and hacks alone or in company, happy to go first or last. Unphased by the heaviest of traffic, led a young horse passed a live brass band at the village fete and didn't bat an eyelid! Snaffle mouthed. Shae has been with us for the past 18 months, but sadly he has been prematurely outgrown and my daughter has moved onto horses. He has been a mother daughter share pony, is snaffle mouth at all times and is a laid back kick along pony who would suit someone who prefers hacking out beach rides and general fun rides. Very special 16 year old Welsh D for sale. Pedro is an ex trekking pony, he has worked for the yard for 10 years but is now looking for a new home due to the yard closing (owner retiring). Pedro has done everything from total novice walk rides up to 4 day stay away rides. He has also pulled a carriage at Centre Parcs. Good in all traffic, with trains, tanks, chinooks and happy to cross the A303 dual carriageway. He will go first or last and is happy in open country, used to riding over Salisbury plain. He will hack on his own, but needs a little reassurance from his rider until he gets to know new places. Will live in or out with mares and geldings. He is not strong but can be a little on the forehand as he hasn't done much schooling. Good to box, shoe, catch. Good doer. The bad bits... He has a very low grade lameness on the left fore. This has been present for some time but has not stopped him from enjoying hacking out. The vet has seen him recently to assess his suitability for finding a hacking home. The vet is happy that he suitable for hacking, currently he is doing about an hours ride with walk, trot and canter. Once he is fitter he should be happy to do up to a couple of hours hacking 3 to 4 times a week. The advice is that schooling/jumping and working on a circle would not be so good for him.
