I am selling my horse due to pregnancy and lack of excercise. 17.3h 9yr old Dutch warm blood, brilliant to catch, load, travel, shoe and clip. Lovely light fun ride, fab with traffic. Loves to jump and will jump anything put in front of him. This horse is a super jumper and will make someone a lovely horse. Despite his height he is a loving gentle giant. However due to his height and his capability he is not for a novice, looking for an experienced home where he will be kept in regular work. Can live out and in but prefer him to go to a yard where he is kept in a routine and work. He likes his routine and likes to have a job to do.

Dutch warm blood

This is an extremely hard decision for me but could hopefully be a good one for my horse. My horse Cash has had quite a hard working life being a professional show jumper and hunter. I bought him 4 years ago from a friend who wanted him retiring from hunting to give him a steady life, which I did for a while just doing a bit of local show jumping and hacking. Cash is a beautiful natured, kind boy he loves being with other horses or a horse at least he always finds a special pal and sticks with them. I'm working full time now and struggle to give him the attention he needs ! He's being ridden once a week by a lovely young girl who works at the yard he's at livery. He's got arthritic changes from hard work and age which means he's a bit stiff so I do not want him going back into full or hard work !! What would suit him is retirement as a companion horse or suit someone who wants to do a little happy hacking. He's not a novice ride, he can be in ménage and in most circumstances but out on hacks he can get strong across open fields and will jump if pointed at hedges ! He didn't hack alone when I first bought him and would create a lot ! Spinning and rearing up but I managed to get him out of it and we went all over together, with a unconfident person he could possible do the same but will follow another horse or even lead as long as another horse present. I will not give this horse to anyone under age of 30, they will need to be caring and experienced. He needs a home for life. Not for total novice better with teenager or adult due to being can be quite strong coming in from field only after grass really just being a cheeky boy.Mainly due to this I have Oestrio arthritis and he takes the mick out of me and knows I've got no strengh and very weak shoulders and other illness is reason for sale. He is 110% in traffic sees tractors, trailors, buses, milk tankers every time we hack out as creamery only across the field. He doesnt buck, kick or rear. Can go for canter in open field doesnt tank off. Easy to stop snaffle mouth. Can be awkward to put bit in month I just use a treat when doing it. Only puts his head up or down and I cant reach or bend so treat works for me. Just being truthful. He is stunning to look at with masses of mane and tail. Loves being tied up and groomed. Stands at mounting block and waits till told to walk on. This is sad sale and he's wasted with me only ridden about once a week. Although he can be left for weeks and still the same.
