I bought this pony for my son to start showjumping and he gave him so much confidence that they won overall points winner for jumping 2'3 and 2'6 at our local unaffiliated shows. This pony is a real gem. He rides out perfect and doesn't get afraid of anything at all. He is good to shoe, box and clip and a real darling in the stable. He is a yard favourite who loves cuddles and attention. This is a heartbreaking decision but my son has reached his teens and decided to play rugby This is a heartbreaking sale and I found it very difficult to find a pony this genuine for my son to ride out alone. Buttons is a 12.2hh 8 year old lead rein pony who has been ridden by my seven year old son. He has regularly attended pony club rallies, camp, team jumping,cross country and hunted him. he is an excellent lead rein pony at walk and trot and will plod along all day but he does put in a small buck when asking for canter. He is excellent to catch box in traffic and with farrier. He isn't shod. Sadly being sold because my son has gone on to a more foward going pony.

Such a heart breaking decision but my beautiful Irish Thoroughbred is up for sale. I currently can now no longer ride as I am waiting for a back operation and will be unable to walk for months, so this is the best choice for my boy. Xander has come such a long way coming from a bad previous home. He has been ridden by a novice but I want him to go too a home with experience. He needs a lot more schooling and hacking out (walk trot) to build his muscle up as he was very under nourished. He is currently coming back into work being lunged and ridden slowly after having a rest. He is a very lazy ride but slight squeeze and he will listen, so no leg kickers!! I am only wanting him to go too a 10* home as he is a very loved boy, so experienced people only please. He needs to go to someone with a kind hand, I am very gentle with Xander and that's the sort of home I want him to go too. I am in no rush to sell him as I only want serious and honest people for my boy! Excellent with the farrier (fully shod) Amazing with the dentist Comes to call at his field He is used to chickens,geese and sheep.
