Super Sweet, Jumps for Fun 16H TB Gelding

Snaffle Mouthed 16h Light Bay TB Gelding (13 yrs.). Mac is the easiest, quietest and sweetest little horse on the yard who jumps for fun, foot perfect over the biggest of fences and equally works nicely on the flat. He hacks out alone or in company, will ride and lead and leads a lead rein pony and little rider on the road, down tracks and across fields and is impeccably behaved. Mac is good to load (lorry/trailer), travel, shoe, clip, bath and will stand on the yard untied and not move until told. Mac is naturally forward going so requires a competent and confident jockey who will give him encouragement when he’s a little unsure with things he’s not seen or done before. He is regularly ridden by a 14-year-old PC girl who he works nicely for in the school on the flat, over fences, grid work, clear round SJ and has taken him schooling over XC fences at UK chasers. She even called upon him at last minute to stand in for his stable mate at Pony Camp which he embraced. Mac enjoys lessons and working in and around other horses in the school maintaining focus. He is part of a mixed herd when out but does enjoy his own company and is always the first to want to come in. This versatile little horse is looking for and thoroughly deserves a loving, fun home having retired from racing after a successful P2P season. Eye catching Blue and white Dartmoor hill pony, great fun pony who has done show jumping, xc schooling, low level dressage, clinics, ponyclub,local showing in hand and ridden. Broken in by my the 10 yr old and now sadly outgrown, same home for last 4 yrs. Blue is a very much look at me pony with a lot of presence, he is not a first pony and would be suited to a confident child as a second pony or a mother/daughter share. Although never nasty can be sharp at times and does get keen jumping so experienced home only! He is not a school master as he is still young but in the right hands would be amazing, he could do with more schooling although been to schooling livery in the past and came on loads but the daughter wants to jump. He has been neglected in the past so need someone who is aware of his background. Easy to handle and my daughter can do everything with him, lovely nature and great attitude.
