13hh Perfect Pony

Tonto (which is Portuguese for idiot). Is an amazing little pony. He will love you unconditionally if there is food in your hand. He will roll in dirt five minutes after you groom him and he will clamp his mouth shut when he sees his bridle. However, he will take care of your child when they are on his back, he will do as your child asks especially if they have polos in their pocket. He is good with the farrier, he doesn't complain about the dentist, he will even tolerate a vet with good grace. He doesn't like the taste of wormer but will suffer it in silence. He is easier to walk than our dogs. When he is hacking out alone he will behave himself but will insist on shouting out to all the horses he passes. Hes friendly like that. In a group he suddenly thinks hes a thoroughbred, not in behaviour but his little legs will carry him as fast as they can (which is pretty fast) to keep up. Actually I am sure hes passed some retired racehorses in his time. He likes to jump but he isn't very good at it, anything bigger than a baby bounce and he feels he should go through it. When we have taken him to local shows hes behaved impeccably and usually places in the cob classes. Everyone who meets him loves him. His eight year old owner says that "Hes a teaching pony and its time that he taught someone else". I say he is a mothers dream, or would suit a small adult who wants something safe. Read more

Has competed in and been placed at county level showing, WHP, Area dressage and show jumping, hunter trials and mini ODEs. Puzzle has done unaffiliated show jumping up to 80cm, but has schooled over 90cm+ fences at home. He has a clean jump with scope to burn and rarely touches a pole while he can be fast against the clock and turn on a sixpence. Popcorn is a stunning 6 year old part bred Connemara 13HH pony with a loving character and very eager to please. Passported and microchipped. Fully up to date with all vaccinations and worming. She has competed successfully in SJ up to 90 and regularly takes the Red Ribbon at 80cm. She has jumped 1m at home so has the potential to be very successful. She has a bold and confident jump and a quick turn. She has also done XS and Show cross at 80cm and preliminary dressage gaining a respectable result for her 1st outing.
