For Sale Muskerry Apple Jack LR pony who can turn his hoof to anything. He is a grey gelding LHC 122cm. He has qualified last year for the second round of Olympia veteran qualifiers and 15+ as a lead rein show hunter. He will pop a small jump, has attended pony club, and loves doing fancy dress. He has leant both my children to ride. He will hack out on his own or in company. He lives on a busy working farm so used to big machinery. This is a very sad sale as we have owned him for the last 5 years as we bought him when my son was only 18 months old but it is time for him to go on and teach someone else the ropes. Registered Welsh part bred 'Doylan Silver Moonlight' 8yo dapple grey gelding offered for sale. Storm is Offered for sale due to having no time or transport to get him out to shows, he is being sold as "needing to be brought back into work" and not a 1st pony. Storm has been out of work for a couple of months now due to work and family commitments, he was ridden 6 times the week before a show and then taken to north west champs (oct 16th ) where he was stabled all day with no issues, ridden in 3 classes and was pulled through into the top ten for the evening performance, he behaved himself in the evening performance and took the huge crowds and noise all in his stride. The previous year he won his first ever show under saddle, and again pulled into the top ten at north west champs, he hasn't been over shown so still classed as a novice, he pulls it out the bag everytime even though I have never had him in regular work, he will hack alone but does prefer company (not dangerous just vocal alone) he's forward but doesn't rear, bolt or bronk (snaffle mouthed). He needs an experienced child, teenager or small adult, would excel in regular work and he prefers schooling and showing, he has a good jump on him, and I am hoping to get him out over winter if he's not sold. He will travel, bath, worm, groom, load fine, only issue is he's unsure of the farrier on his backs but just needs gentle persuasion (he is fine to have feet picked up by yourselves) I have Never twitched etc for the farrier.
