ALL ROUNDER/ HUNTING PONY in Pontefract

Samson 14.2hh 6yrs old I have owned Samson since he was a two year old and honestly can't credit this pony enough. 100 percent in traffic, good to shoe, with dentist, bath, clip ext. (Can provide references). He has been generally hacking and schooled for the past few weeks due to lack of time and university commitments. He has done 2 full seasons out hunting proving to be brave and bold throughout, he is a real head turner and has manners to die for out on the hunting field, always get compliments on him! He has tackled various fences out hunting including post and rails, hedges and ditchs even leading some of the 'older' horses. Showjumping he is bold and scopey and would easily affiliate. He has jumped 1m15 at home and 85cm out competing; show jumping, show cross and hunter trials. NO Novices due to age. Although he is a novice ride he can be fairly forward going as he loves his job and I would therefore not want him wasting. NO TIME WASTERS or LOANS. Sadly outgrown, this lovely 13.3 hand pony, has taught me so much and needs someone who will take him to his full potential. Great with little kids. He’s a genuine all rounder. He can jump courses up to 85cm and probably higher with the right rider. He has a great jump and fast times. He loves jumping, farm rides and XC jumping. He would be a great hunting pony/eventing pony and even pony club or dressage pony. He’s great working on flat. Personally when I take him out showing I do the working hunter as he loves it. Roscal is great at just hacking out on roads and generally doesn’t get spooked by much. He will load onto trailer or lorry first time no problem. Great to catch and with farrier. Perfect to handle on the ground and loves a good groom. He’s had no vices and in the 5 years I’ve had him Roscals never needed the vet or had any problems. However, sadly he does have sweet itch but isn’t a problem if his fly rug is kept on and I usually use Killitch (works a dream with him and not too expensive.) Superb 148 All Rounder Pony for sale

Very sad sale of our much loved pony Elvis as sadly outgrown by my teenage daughter. Elvis is a 14.2hh (AHC) 8 year old flashy piebald gelding. This pony loves his job and gives 100% in every discipline he attends. He is a safe bombproof pony with a temperament to die for and will turn his hoof to any activity. He excels in show jumping and would suit a younger rider wanting to gain experience and learn the ropes. Elvis has competed up to Newcomers with plenty more left to give in affiliated show jumping but is still eligible for British Novice. Elvis is an active member in pony club competing in pony club area show jumping teams, attending rallies and lessons. Was placed 6th at his first one day event.
