This is a very strong hull which is in my mind a great quality fibreglass very much like the superb "Shakespeare" boats from years ago = probably one of the strongest hulls ever to be produced it has at present a hole in the transom where a Volvo Penta 270 "Z drive" was fitted however the previous owner removed it and never got around to replacing it and so it could have another fitted or I have considered reducing the 2 inch thick transom in order to fit a large outboard engine As it is now it has had a first class job done of new floor fibreglassed in which also provides a bouyancy area which would be important in case of it overturning also there is a steering wheel and cable which works The "break back"trailer is almost completely Overhauled and refurbished including the brakes stripped and cleaned out the wheel bearings checked and greased together with refurbished mud guards and all " u bolts" replaced with new galvanised ones a new winch strap(as opposed to cables) all parts wire brushed and then painted with Hammerite and two off as new tyres =165x13. The only item I have not yet sorted is the two adjustable side rollers The overall length from the front to the back of the boat is exactly 16 ft and then perhaps allow 2 ft at the front for the winch and tow bar etc and then if you were to add 2 ft = this would allow for the outboard engine or for the leg of the outdrive The boat is almost like a " blank canvass" with the steering position on the right hand side and to the left side of this it really invites you to step up onto the front deck which to me would be a great help in use as a rescue boat or similar- the only way to see the potential is to call me for any more information and /or then come to view at Wa139pr = Lymm Village,Cheshire, I have 45 horse power Archimedes Penta longshaft and electric star 3 cylinder 2 stroke single carb Swedish outboard which is available seperately at £450 = it sounds fantastic and can be demonstrated in a test tank prior to purchase pumps plenty of water and selects gears as it should = one of the swettest sounding 2 strokes ever ?? for any more info then please call for a no-obligation chat For the weekend I will consider any sensible offers thereafter it will go onto e bay -part exchange may be considered non runners etc ????just ask??? I have left the partitioning up for new owner as a template other than this everything has been striped out and is left as a blank canvas for your inspiration ideas or dreams take you the boats comes with canopy and frame which will probably need replacing but have left again for template there are various bits of trim and bow bar with the boat and a window other the boat is 20ft in length from the transom to partitioning being around 7ft some room there to maybe have seating there with cabin being around 10ft ideal still steering wheel and controls still in place. The trailer is tow-able and i towed in 10 miles but tyres did deflate after several hours hubs and bearings will need replacing so trailer needs some TLC to be restored to a fully functional launching trailer again this was my grandads project and had planned to restore thist however due to circumstances no longer able to do this the boat Hull is 95% sound and strong sound with some minor repairs a good sand down filler and re antifouled would be great if you are looking for project that has a blank canvas then this would be great for you
