'Arla' has been owned by me since a yearling. She is 3yrs old on . Her dam is a quality registered Welsh mare with Eppynt and Revel lines. Her sire is a 16hh appaloosa x TB stallion by the famous 'Champagne Charlie' and 'Amazing Blue' Arla has an amazing temperament, loves people and other horses. Not marish. She comes to call in the field, picks feet up regularly, stands tied, had rugs, tack, hi-viz, boots etc. She doesn't like the scary measuring stick quite yet, tho' will happily have small children run around and sit on her! She has had many walks in hand out on country roads / woodlands alone and in company. She has been introduced to coloured poles in the school and walks over them happily. She is good with traffic, the farrier, dentist, children and dogs. She also does a trick and trots on voice command. She does load but likes to think about it first! But this is only because she has only ever been on a horsebox twice with me leading her (a rusty novice owner!) I intended to keep Arla myself but I am relocating and sadly cannot take her with me, hence this utterly heartbreaking sale. She will make a fantastic all rounder / competition pony. She has taken to ridden work brilliantly and will make someone a cracking horse with further education. She is still a fairly blank canvas as has spent most of her life turned away due to my lack of time. She has always wintered out rugless only having hay during snow/really harsh weather and has always come out of winter looking amazing. !! Advertised for a friend !! Welsh cob mare for sale 14.3 hands 14 years old Grey Lucy is a kind hearted mare with lots of fun to give an experienced adult / teenager. She is NOT a novice ride. She was brought by a friends mum as a happy hacker type but she is not happy and needs a job!! She has done abit of everything in life but has been used mainly for hacking, hunting and the odd plod in the school for the past 3 years. She was hunted by adults and children as young as 14; when being used by children was placed in a waterford as could get abit strong nothing maliscous. She is very much a follower. She does need work doing in the school but she is such a willing mare i dont think it would take her long. Has a lovely jump on her, doesnt pull your arms off going into the fence, has been jumped at home by a 12 year old with no issues. Lucy has never been out hacking on her own with us only ever with 1 other or in groups so I DO NOT know what she is like. Whilst out with 1 other she can be spooky and nappy. However, when out in a group she is a lovely calm ride. She is good to shoe, bath, groom etc Loads onto lorries and trailers Lucy is NOT a novice ride she can be mareish and nap.
