Has been to lessons/clinics and jumped over both coloured and rustic fences with us. Travels in a trailer or lorry. Autumn hunted last season and hacked lots. Dudley is currently ridden and enjoyed by a slightly nervous but competent teenager but would also suit a confident rider looking for a fun pony to jump as that really is his forte. Previously competed lots with old owner and was a mother daughter share but due to lack of time he hasn't competed with us but has had lots of outings. Easy to clip, barefoot and lives in or out. Murphy (Murphys Half Pint) is a 13hh piebald cob gelding. Hes 4 years old however don’t be put off by his age! He has been ridden by experienced riders to being on and off the leadrein for children who have never even sat on a horse. This pony gives you so much confidence when you’re on board, never reared or bucked. Good to hack alone or in company, when in company he will go in front or behind never nappy. Ive hacked Murphy along main roads, in open fields and around the local forests. Hes got 3 nice paces, he is more forward when out however not silly or strong. Hes got a nice little jump and Ive competed him cross country and showjumping.- I’ve never had a refusal from this pony. Murphy will turn his hoof to anything! Fully up to date with everything. Ride and drive although I have never driven him, he was driven in his previous home. Easy to catch, groom, bath, feet, teeth and loves attention, he is a real sweet little character, he has been used as a field companion all his life for his previous owner that doesn't ride and had no intension of riding but then she needed to cut down on numbers, I bought him in the summer as a project to bring on he was a little sweetie to handle and break he has been lunged, long lined, loose jumped, sat on and led around the village by riding another horse and has met traffic and tractors with no problems, he really wouldn't take much finishing off but I have had a change in circumstances after having a bad riding accident, (not on him!!) and he has just been left all winter to get hairy and fat!!!
