Due to no fault of her own my mums lovely 6yr old dartmoor hill pony 11hh been sat on and bitted and played with (not broken though) a real ppl pony she will make a fab kids pony eventually not seen huge amount of traffic but has been on the farm with machinery and livestock. No timewasters sale due to work.

Sturdy and sensible but still a little green due to lack of rider but hacks around the lanes and works in the school, pops over poles and small jumps. Enjoys playing games over tarpaulin and cones etc. Excellent to catch, handle, shoe and box and a great companion as doesn't mind being left on his own for a while. Would be a good hunting or working hunter pony with a little work. Has sweet itch which is manageable with attention and care - all the photos taken in summer. 13.1hh Dartmoor Hill Pony. in Newton Abbot

Dartmoor Hill pony, 7 years, dark bay gelding. Solid and sensible but still a little green due to lack of a small rider. He's been hacked out and about which he really enjoys and works in the school (not his favourite) and pops over poles and small jumps. Excellent to catch and handle and has been fine with all the traffic he's met so far. Great as a companion as he doesn't mind being left on his own for short periods and is used to going out with all sorts of other horses. Would make a good hunting or working hunter pony with a little more work. He has sweet itch which is very manageable with attention and care - he has a full mane and tail and hardly any rubs but it does need constant maintenance hence very reasonable price and the right home is very important. Comes with his bridle and rugs. Saddle negotiable.

Beautiful three year old filly who will make a super family pony. Very friendly and will pop over to you in the field for kisses on her nose! Matured nicely and now ready for backing and bringing on this summer. Currently standing at approx 11.2hh. She's a firm favourite on the yard due to her very friendly and inquisitive character. Dartmoor pony gelding in Newton Abbot

12'2 black Dartmoor pony gelding. Freddie a lovely little pony, he is always first over in the field to greet you he loves a fuss and carrots! He currently lives out with mares and geldings but could also live in. He is very easy to do (load, trim, brush, pick feet out etc), not rugged and is barefoot, laid back manner. Never kicked, bucked or bitten (but can become nippy when given too many treats!) I have sat on Freddie numerous times, in the yard, field and around the lanes but am far to big to expect him to do anything, friends have ridden him around the lanes and he was very good however has a tendency to pick from the hedge! Freddie has been ridden by small children and adults although they have now lost interest and he is left without a rider. He goes on regular walks around the lanes, meeting cars, bikes, tractors etc but nothing seems to faze him. I feel Freddie would make a great childs/small adults pony for someone. Please take note that he will need extra work off the lead rein to stop the hedge snacking. I am looking for around £450 open to offers as home more important than price. Its important I find him a home where he gets the love and attention he needs. Will come with saddle and bridle.

My 6yr old son can lead her in and out of field. She has been mostly used as a lead rein pony for my 2 sons who really aren't interested in horses! She has been to several local shows and always comes home with rosettes. My 6yr has started riding her off the lead rein but only in walk. She will follow you around the school and go aver jumps She has been hacked out on and off the lead rein and is good in traffic. Jumping 2'9 with ease on the lunge. Not a novice ride off lead rein. She is good for farrier, clip, loading, grooming etc. She has no vices. She is available with cub saddle, bridle rugs. Home is far more important than price

Stunning dartmoor hill pony for sale in Lowestoft

I have come to a very sad and difficult decision to put my daughters pony up for sale due to total loss of interest. Marli is a 5yr old hh dhp, who is a very genuine little mare with a heart of gold, broken to ride on the lead rein so would need to be brought on further in her education. I would like her to go to a 5*home with hopefully a loving little jockey who will give her the attention she deserves and who will bring out her full potential. She is passported and microchipped and is good with traffic and up to date with everything- feet, teeth, jabs, wormers. I feel like she has too much to offer and is far too good to be sat in a field being wasted so I'm wanting to do what's best for her, I will be sad to see her go because she is a very much loved pony.
