Sailboat Colvic Springtide 24 Ft - Beta 13.5 Hp Engine (120 hours only) - 4 Berth - Lots of extras!
I am selling a 24 foot Colvic Springtide sailboat with lots of extras. Name: Victoria. Type of Keel: Long Keel (safe boat, heavy shallow keel allowing passage through shallow areas, boat stable at all times). Type of Engine: Beta 13.5 Hp (120 hours only) - Tank capacity 10 Gallons plus additional 5 gallon. Engine recently serviced with new filter fitted. Genoa sail and main sail in excellent condition. Inside: 4 Berths, 2 in the front, 2 in the centre. Like new kitchen with oven, gas fire (including externally connected gas bottle), sink with reservoir and pump, toilet with manual pump, bilge pump under floor, easy access to engine. Lots of extras including 10W solar panel outside, connected to solar regulator and 2 batteries, one leisure and one starter. Trickle charge can be connected to either. Can be connected to mains with included high end (and as new) battery charger and long included lead. Plenty of drawers that have been made kids safe, i.e. no nails sticking out. Advanced GPS navigation module and VHF radio included, all connected to external antenna's. Radio and speakers included with external on-off switch to save battery. Antenna connections ready for TV. Anti-slip outside everywhere and anchor in the front with chain accessible in front cabin. Has been anti-fouled beginning of June with prime blue anti-foul paint, clear of any barnacles. All sealants have been replaced with Sikaflex, ready for another 2 years minimum. All fenders and ropes are available. Small emergency ladder on the harbour side. Just needs some wood (cabin door and sides) to be varnished / painted and if required, front cabin can be decorated further. Our primary goal was to make the cabin children friendly, dry and safe. Outside wood needs a new varnish layer but is in excellent condition. Reluctant sale as we now have a newcomer in the family and it would mean I need to convert the boat into something a bit more baby-friendly. It is currently in Fox's marina in Ipswich (across Beefeaters) and needs to be seen and navigated to be fully appreciated. Price is lower due to the required varnish job I have not been able to finish. Besides the numerous day trips to Harwich and to Zeelandia, we have successfully sailed this boat across the Thames to Chatham with top speeds on sail only up to 8.5 - 9 knots. Normal engine speed will be around 6 - 7 knots, with an autonomy with a full tank of up to 30 hours, which is cheaper than any other way of transportation. Priced for quick sale, please let me know if you have any queries or would like to go for a quick tour. Ad ID: Delivery Service Consumer Credit
