Dartmoor pony gelding

12'2 black Dartmoor pony gelding. Freddie a lovely little pony, he is always first over in the field to greet you he loves a fuss and carrots! He currently lives out with mares and geldings but could also live in. He is very easy to do (load, trim, brush, pick feet out etc), not rugged and is barefoot, laid back manner. Never kicked, bucked or bitten (but can become nippy when given too many treats!) I have sat on Freddie numerous times, in the yard, field and around the lanes but am far to big to expect him to do anything, friends have ridden him around the lanes and he was very good however has a tendency to pick from the hedge! Freddie has been ridden by small children and adults although they have now lost interest and he is left without a rider. He goes on regular walks around the lanes, meeting cars, bikes, tractors etc but nothing seems to faze him. I feel Freddie would make a great childs/small adults pony for someone. Please take note that he will need extra work off the lead rein to stop the hedge snacking. I am looking for around £450 open to offers as home more important than price. We have had her for over 4 years and due to my daughter outgrowing her we have decided it would be best for Storm to move on and to share her kind nature and love for jumping with someone else and have the time she deserves. This is a very sad advert to be writing but we are looking for a new home for our very special pony 'Dave'. He is a full up 12.2. We bought Dave as a confidence giving pony for my son and he has been just this. He is your traditional kick along pony that is happy to give anything a go. Will hack out happily first or last. Has been to pony club rallies and he behaves brilliantly in a group of ponies. Will lead rein or trot a lovely cm nervous and novice course but if you push him he will do a course may not win on speed but will get you round clear and safe. We are looking for a 5* home for Dave as he has proved himself to be a great addition to our family but due to my other children being adrenaline junkies he is just to steady. Taz is for sale through no fault of his own I bought him last summer for my young son to do 1st yr 1st Ridden, he has such a lovely temperament and is an easy going pony to be around and is great to handle by my children. We did a few shows on the leadrein at the end of last season and he was an absolute star but my son wants to go on his own and is just not confident enough at the minute to be able to show off the leadrein on Taz, I feel Taz would suit a confident older first ridden, Junior/open rider or do the lead rein classes, he also has a good jump and has the potential to be a really nice Working Hunter.
