A 12hh hill pony for sale. Brilliant to lead on own or company and hacks alone or in company. Not done much schooling but will take it in his stride. He walks out very well so would suit a confident child as he loves hacking. I have lunged him regularly and again takes it in his stride. Has popped the odd jump and cleared it well. Very easy to handle in all ways. Only selling as he is not working enough and not fair on him. Comes with tack and rugs.

Top Class SHP / WHP or M & M Lead Rein Pony 12 hh

Beautiful, flashy palomino, gelding 12hh, registered section A called Steephill Carruthers. Although only 5 years old, we have had 2 very successful showing seasons with him both in hand & ridden on the lead rein. He has won numerous classes and championships including Aberystwyth and Ceredigion County and Brecon County. Carl always holds his own even against the professionals. We do a range of classes from M & M, section A, palomino, coloured to straight lead rein. We have also had some fun with him winning show jumping and gymkhana. He is a brilliant athletic jumper, so would easily win working hunters too. We have never hunted or hacked him, simply because it doesn't interest us. I am not selling him as a FYFR, because of his age & the need for few more miles on the clock in my opinion, but he does go nicely off the LR & hops into canter on the correct leg, so would suit a competent child off the lead rein, who enjoys competing and winning. Good on the ground and in the stable. Carl is reallly friendly pony and comes cantering in when you call him. He loves attention and will stand all day for pampering. 11.2 hh 11yo Grey (some of the time) Welsh Section A Gelding - Striker Striker is a cherub. He will happily do the lead rein bit with the wobbly just starting off riders. He will hack up the lanes unfazed by any cars, vans, bikes, tractors coming past, and he will happily stand and wait for traffic to pass. He will go round and round and round a schooling area, walking over poles and weaving around cones. Striker has a sweet little trot and a nice rhythmic canter with the sweetest little pop over a small jump, which he will happily do on the lead or off. He has been across wide open fields and down woodlands and little foresty areas and he's impeccably behaved, standing and waiting for gates to be opened without getting fidgety. He has been put to harness and pulled a little cart before we owned him, however this is not something we have done with him. Striker will happily do the circuits on the lead rein with a 3 year old or step up for a more able jockey, happily carrying 8 stone with a 5'5 rider. Striker has the presence, movement and the look to excel in the show ring, however I wouldn't recommend this as his forte as he also has the hygiene and cleanliness of a wart hog !!! This little boy has given my nieces some lovely times and helped build their confidence in the saddle and on the ground but the winter has it's way of showing the enthusiastic jockeys from the fair weather fairies. Chester is a 12.2hh, Sec A, 10yo, Bay gelding, lead rein show pony. He is up to date with flu/vaccs and comes with height cert. Details about   12 inch / 12" English lead rein pony

English straight cut half panel saddle. 12 inch seat. Previously used on a 10.2 hands show pony for 'Tiny Tots' lead rein classes. Had a long life in the show ring and has lots of use.  Please note that there is some scuffing to the cantle as shown in the photo and has been in store for some time so needs a good cleaning. Fantastic Lead rein/2nd Pony 12.1hh For Sale in Bridgwater

This is a sad sale of our much loved pony. Mitzi has taught my daughter to ride having started as a lead rein off my TB, then hacking without easily and safely independently. She has won many ribbons in local shows for showing (lead rein and off) and showjumping up to 80cm. Mitzi has also successfully completed mini XC and loves to run ! Professionally schooled by lightweight adult and really shows her stride and paces potential, so she would also be ideal confidence giver to the right adult. Would do Walk & Trot tests quite happily. Snaffle mouthed, perfect to shoe, tie up and groom, clip, loads easily with a bucket...... lives out with other mares but happy in stable also. Dentist and vaccinations all up to date, no vices Loves a fuss, fantastic with children, dogs etc. Lives on a farm environment so fine with pigs, tractors...... I have indicated that Mitzi would be ideal as a Lead Rein OR a 2nd ridden. This is because she can be lazy so may need a stronger jockey to get the best out of her at shows. However, as a hack/family pony, she is perfect. She strides out beautifully and keeps up with the bigger horses very easily. Very pretty with good movement, Show Ring beckons....
