This is a power attenuator, (power soak), that allows a valve amplifier to be cranked up to make the valves really sing, but while keeping the volume to a sensible level. This item was hand built in the USA, and I'm selling it as I no longer use it. The unit is in a very good condition. It's easy to use with just a 4, 6 or 8 ohms switch, a large Volume knob and a single Input and Output jack. It comes with a very high quality lead to connect to your amp.
