Moby is a 16.3hh 8 year old Irish draught gelding. Manners to die for. Same home for the past 2 1/2 years. He has hunted for 3 seasons with the fernie, woodland Pytchley and the readyfield bloodhounds. He started team chasing this year and stormed round several novice classes clear. Has regularly competed at novice level dressage getting over 70% in most tests. He started doing some BE a few years back competing at BE 80 and 90 and getting placed. He has also regularly competed at 1.05 and 1m10 sj on a ticket and unaffiliated. He is a saint to do in all ways, loads on a lorry and trailer, good to travel will stand all day. I have come to the hard decision to sell my best friend. Harley is 11 year old, 16.1hh chestnut thoroughbred gelding. We have owned him for the past 5 years where he was brought as a project. He is a fast learner and has been to a couple of local shows both show jumping and cross country. However due to myself going back into education he has only been hacked for the past year. He hacks both in company and on his own. Prefers to take the lead when in company. Harley is good with the farrier, dentist, no stable vices. Snaffle mouth. Gets on with both mares and geldings. Up to date with vaccinations, worming, teeth and feet. Lives in or out and is a good doer considering he is a thoroughbred. Harley has lovely sable manners and is very affectionate, would stand for hours being cuddled, groomed and pampered. He equally can be turned out for days and would still love you. Harley is a dream to own, easy to look after and will fit around your lifestyle. Harley does not have a nasty bone in his body he is very forgiving. Harley is not a novice ride, he needs to be sold to an experienced rider who has preferably dealt with thoroughbreds before. He is not a horse you can bully and needs a quiet confident rider. Harley is visually confident but is sensitive to sound. For example when hacking if he sees a tractor, bus etc he is fine. However is he hears something behind him and cannot see it he tends to panic. By panic he does not rear or buck but shoot forward. This is rare but need him to go to the right home to get the best out of him. 5* home is a must for this much loved boy. Harley will be sold from the field due to me being at university for the past 4 months and not having the time he deserves. No timewasters please this is a heart breaking sale as it is. Sad sale of Black Jack my LW cob cross. Jack is an amazing hack whether first or last, in company or alone. He will go past tractors, motor bikes, cyclists and is sane on the beach/open spaces. Jack is great to school and learns quickly. He rides a good test and could go far with somebody who wanted to specify in this sphere. Jack is still quite green jumping and is not a novice ride due to this. Great to shoe, load and travel and will stand next to the trailer patiently.
